Summary

Bubble centers around Hibiki the star runner of the Blue Blazes. A talented runner he is cold, aloof, standoffish, and hardly seen without his noise cancelling headphones. Like many of his fellow runners, he is without a home or family after the bubble phenomenon. Through providence he meets an odd and otherworldly young woman by following an enchanting siren song from a gravity bubble. The young woman becomes known as Uta which means song in Japanese. Through her, Hibiki learns to open himself up onto the world.

Bubble takes place in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo where a giant gravity bending bubble has taken hold of the city turning it into ruins.
